Say SORRY Mr. CM

“If it had not been (Major) Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have glanced that way...” Commented by our Honorable chief minister Mr. V.S. Achuthanandan at being turned away at the door by Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's father.....

I feel shame on myself for having a chief minister like him who doesn’t know how to react to a father's feelings who just lost his one and only one son. That too on a son who sacrificed his life for makes us to be safe. We should feel proud of him…Instead of that that our CM insulted his family.

As my brother belongs to Air force, I can understand what a soldier's family feels. In Major Sandeep's case, he himself joined with the team for Taj operation without any compulsion or hesitation. He has given up his life for our nation...but what our politician's gave him back?

Politicians should understand it’s not as easy to go for a commando operation as cutting ribbons. More over who gave them the rights to comment on a father's feelings? Mr. V.S Achuthanandan is representing more than 3 cores of malayalees. He symbolize the attitude of malayalee...by commenting like this, he made us to feel shame on ourselves. He gave an opportunity to the media to attack on him, even on the attitude of malayalee. All over the nation, whole media has populated that the malayalee major though Sandeep settled in Karnataka...

I am surprised how could CM say like this? Always told that Kerala is the 100% literate state. But the CM of 100% cultured state doesn’t know how to behave. It simply means that he doesn’t deserve to be the CM. He should apologies... but he refused to apologies for the denigrating remark till.

Mr. CM shouldn’t have said like this as being the most experienced politician in today’s Indian politics... Such a denigrating comment doesn’t suit one of India’s most respectable veteran leaders…After all he as such a political history which made us to proud on him…but today he himself forced us to oppose him...to blame him...to ask him to apologies publicly to the Major’ family…

I'm really sorry Major. Our state apologies to you for what our CM said...We all love you...We proud of you...

Say Sorry Mr. CM atleast for our state's sake…

You have reflected our feelings deepz. It is really shameful to b ruled by a senseless, arrogant and ill cultered leader like Mr V S Achutanandan!

Not only the CM but the whole state owes an apology to Maj.Sandeep's family.

I completely agree with you that V.S should never have responded like that. Also he should have apologised immediately. Now as he had apologised[though late] and Unnikrishnan family have said that it is a closed matter let us also close it. Denigrating politicians as a class [as being fashionable now] will only help in destabilising the country. We should be intelligent and mature enough to find among them the least corrupt, least divisive and capable individuals to lead us through this difficult situation

:) See, I agree what our CM said is not sensible, but he was treated that way...Major's father was also using abusing language - may be because of the shock of his only son's death. but our PM is was also shocked.. Even he is a human being... so when being humiliated in front of all the media and other people in that way, we cant blame him for reacting in that way.. but he should not have told that as he is representing a State, He should have controlled his emotions.. But in the end of the day, Its just a personal comment that he passed out of frustration. :)
No harm meant..

kala pettu ennu kettappol kayaru eduthathalla mashe...as per my perspective, I felt Mr. C.M was wrong.. Whatever might be the situation, being a CM, he shouldn't have done such a comment...no matter in which situation. he represents our state...and the reports has come not only in Times Now, but in many channels and other media. So my reference as not only Times now...moreover, my opinion was not something political oriented, but as a human being...

See Mr Advt,

I expressed my humanity already when the issues happened in B’lore itself for which I witnessed. I don’t want to clarify myself in front of you Moreover you never tried to see the things from a common citizen’s perspective. Instead political concerns are clearly seen in your words.

You may have again a lot a explanations and all…But what Mr. C.M said, is absolutely wrong…

Pinne panakkarudeyum pavappettavarudeym karyam, ithinu munpu nadanna ella terrorist attacks nodulla ethirppu Indian janatha kanichathu indiayodulla akaramanathe ethirkkunnathayittu thanneyanu..alalthe innale panakakreyum kazhinja divasam pavappettvareyum akarmichu..panakkare akramichappol kooduthal vedanichu ennu paranjalla…if anyone has reacted like that, thn only the politicians…not the common people….

I think you need to understand the things better and please try to see the things from the public’s perspective. Not with your political aspects…

I agreee that our minister should appologize for his comment.. That he has done also.

"it’s not as easy to go for a commando operation as cutting ribbons" this is not appropriate as far as our chief minister is considered .. Our honourable CM has also gone through all these operations in his younger age for the people. I think he is not a person who knows only cutting ribbons without knowing anything like polititians of our generation.
When major sandeep has done something it is not a big deal for him. He has done a lot of things during independence which we should not forget. He has got enough beats from rifle butts. Has Done lots and lots for the people of our state. So if somebody is proud to have their brother in army, you can be proud. But our CM is proud about himself of doing such things.

Arun.N.M. said...

I agree that we should respect our CM for all his good and great deeds.I also respect the martyrdom of Sandeep.I do not respect what Sandeep's father did.I also do not respect what our CM said about the incident.Sandeep's father being an ordinary citizen.what he do and say need not be discussed here. But our CM, that too VS seniormost political leader of our State and his Party, should have shown more maturity. If it was a 'heat of the moment reaction' he could have apologised then and there instead of waiting for Prakash Karat to give directive.
